Formas de Pensamiento Religioso. La secularización de la racionalidad religiosa en el movimiento social

Resumen

En el presente texto propongo una categoría de análisis para abarcar la reproducción de una racionalidad religiosa en el proceso de análisis de la realidad dentro de los movimientos sociales contestatarios de la actualidad, categoría que denomino formas de pensamiento religioso (FPR). Parto de la premisa de que éstas no son consideradas un problema ni por la academia, ni por los movimientos y, por tanto, hay un vacío categorial alrededor de un problema que constituye un factor interno de debilitamiento de los mismos. De este modo, aquí busco exponer la necesidad de darle la consideración de un problema, así como argumentar su pertinencia en el debate académico. Planteo que las FPR se sostienen sobre una doble herencia religiosa: una de orden sagrado y otra profana que emana de las determinaciones del fetichismo de la mercancía capitalista. Asimismo, sostengo que el momento actual constituye una condición histórica para la reproducción y aceptación de dichas FPR. Las reflexiones acá expuestas derivan de un caso de estudio del movimiento magisterial en México, de donde concluyo que, entre otras expresiones, las FPR devienen formas visibles en figuras de culto, en torno a las cuales se promueven diversas formas de censura.

Forms of Religious Thought. The secularization of religious rationality in the social movement

Abstract

In this text I propose a category of analysis that includes the reproduction of a religious rationality in the process of analysis of reality within today's rebellious social movements, a category that I call forms of religious thought (FRT). I start from the premise that these are not considered a problem either by the academy or by the social movements and, therefore, there is a categorical vacuum around a problem that constitutes an internal factor that weakens them. Thus, my objective is to expose the need to consider FRT like a problem, as well as to argue its relevance in the academic debate. I propose that the FRT are based on a double religious heritage: one of sacred order and another profane that emanates from the determinations of the fetishism of the capitalist commodity. Likewise, I maintain that the present moment constitutes a historical condition for the reproduction and acceptance of such FRT. The reflections presented here derive from a case study of the teachers’ movement in Mexico, from which I conclude that, mainly, the FRT become visible forms in cult figures, around which various forms of censorship are promoted.
